About the Episode

The what's what...

CRM implementation takes all shapes & sizes - sometimes, if you have a long enough tenure in the higher ed industry, you get the lucky ADDED BONUS of implementing more than one (make sure you pick up on my dripping sarcasm here). 😀

This episode includes an interview with Kevin Ezzell, the MBA program director at Lehigh University.  Kevin has implemented an early version of Target X's Salesforce CRM, Slate, and now yet another instance of Salesforce.  Along the way, he has picked up a lot of build skills and has solved a LOT of internal roadblocks.

Put on your back-end programming hat, grab a cup of coffee and stroll with Mickey, Jamie and Kevin as they walk through the scrappy transcript evaluation processes (including workarounds and final solutions) that have been put into practice in the CRM ecosystem.

Interviewee

Kevin Ezzell

As an MBA Program Director, Kevin Ezzell is responsible for the oversight of the operations, recruitment strategy and vision for an internationally ranked full-time MBA program. He is particularly involved with strategy and program development, as his primary goal is to continue to strengthen and increase enrollment beyond the 57% enrollment increase the program experienced in his first two years as Program Director. Kevin brings over fifteen years of higher education experience to this role, including a strong desire in working with post-traditional learners at the two-year, four-year, certificate, and graduate levels. His higher education experience spans working at a regionally ranked liberal arts college and now at a top 50 nationally ranked university. The common theme that runs through his higher education career has been creating and developing programs outside of the norms of established higher education. As a result of this background, his approach is entrepreneurial and consultative and he thrives in situations that involve seeking creative solutions to problems. Kevin has previously served on a non-profit educational board, the Council for Accelerated Learning (Denver, CO) and has been published by the Council for Adult Experiential Learning (CAEL), as well as appeared in articles in Quartz at Work and other regional publications around the topic of post-traditional learning.
