Scott Clyde

Scott Clyde serves as Chief Growth Officer at enroll ml, where he leads the company’s growth strategy and works with higher education leaders to advance a new model of AI-enabled enrollment thinking and management. Drawing on more than a decade of enrollment leadership experience, including service as a chief enrollment officer, Scott brings the perspective of both a practitioner and executive to helping institutions use advanced AI to strengthen strategy, decision-making, student engagement, and enrollment outcomes. Before joining enroll ml, Scott served as Vice President for Strategic Enrollment Management and Chief Enrollment Officer at Xavier University, where he led a broad enrollment portfolio and helped drive significant improvements in enrollment, yield, and student retention. He previously served as Executive Director of Enrollment and Student Financial Strategies at the University of Notre Dame and as Chief of Staff for Enrollment at the University of Rochester, his alma mater. Prior to higher education, Scott served for ten years on active duty as a U.S. Marine Corps officer, F/A-18 fighter pilot, and flight instructor. Major Scott “SHaG” Clyde conducted operations around the world, led squadron operations through multiple deployments, and trained the next generation of Marine and Navy aviators. Scott is also a Rochester Business Journal Forty Under 40 honoree and has served his community in elected and appointed local government leadership roles. He resides in Cincinnati with his wife, Kate, and their family.
