Cinnamon Dowd

Cinnamon Dowd joined Kennesaw State University as the director of enrollment services marketing and communication in 2024. Her duties in this position involve the oversight of all marketing, communications, and social media processes for undergraduate and graduate admissions, as well as new student programs, financial aid, and the bursar and registrar offices Previously, Cinnamon Dowd served as the university marketing manager at Georgia Southern University. She spent more than a decade at the university in positions such as communications coordinator, community outreach coordinator, and academic advisor. Between 2006 and 2012, she supervised the advertising department at The Metter Advertiser. Cinnamon Dowd graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in public relations. She continued her education at the university, completing a master's program in public administration. In 2024, she began a doctoral program in public administration with a focus on non-profit administration at Valdosta State University.
