Gabrielle Giddings

Gabrielle Giddings serves as associate vice chancellor of campaigns at the University of Denver, where she plays a pivotal role driving the success of the University’s $1B Denver Difference campaign, leading campaign communications, advancement events and campaign operations. With more than 30 years of experience as an advancement professional, she is guided by the belief that consistently delivering high-quality, compelling and authentic communications are essential to building donor trust and igniting the spirit of giving. Prior to joining DU, she served as assistant vice president, marketing and communications for Temple Health Institutional Advancement and the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, directing a marketing and communications program that spanned the health system, the school of medicine, and the university. She has led fundraising, community relations, crisis management and media campaigns, with expertise in campaign communications, large-scale and high-end event planning, direct response marketing and donor and alumni engagement efforts. She holds a bachelor’s degree in archaeology from Bryn Mawr College and a master's degree in communication management from Temple University, with a dual focus on communication theory and cross-cultural leadership.
