Carol Keese
As VP and Chief Marketing Officer for the University of Oregon, Carol oversees brand strategy, digital strategy, communications, content, licensing and issues management. In this role, Carol develops business-led strategies designed to change perception and add value to the brand. Prior to joining the UO Carol was Associate VP for Marketing and Brand Strategy for the University of Virginia, overseeing the buildout of the first brand platform, digital enterprise strategy, market research and advertising and licensing campaigns for UVA over a decade. Carol previously served as Vice President for Marketing and Communications at Children’s National Health System in Washington D.C., and as Senior Director of Public Affairs at Johns Hopkins Medicine. Carol Keese has presented nationally on marketing issues in higher education including at the American Marketing Association (AMA), the Association of American Universities (AAU), and SXSWEd.
