Dr. Suzanne Zivnuska

Dr. Suzanne Zivnuska brings nearly two decades of leadership experience in the California State University system to her role as Dean of the College of Business at Cal State Monterey Bay. A strategist and connector at heart, she builds cultures where academic rigor meets real-world relevance—aligning programs, partnerships, and people to drive student success. Before joining CSUMB, she served as interim dean, associate dean, department chair, and director of the Professional Consulting Program at Chico State, leading initiatives in accreditation, program innovation, and community engagement. Her research on mindfulness, ethics, and civility reflects her commitment to healthy, purpose-driven organizations—an approach she now brings to guiding CSUMB’s College of Business through an era reshaped by AI and workforce transformation.
