Dr. Tracy L. Brundage

Tracy L. Brundage began her tenure as the eleventh president of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) on August 1, 2022. A native of Scranton, Pa., Brundage holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Gettysburg College, as well as both a master of education in training and development and a doctorate in workforce education and development from Penn State University. Brundage came to ABAC after four years as President of Keystone College in La Plume, Pa., where she had previously served as Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs. Brundage also served for more than ten years, with her last role as Vice President for Workforce Development, at Pennsylvania College of Technology, a special mission affiliate of Penn State University. She began her career as a corporate trainer for a leading Washington D.C. consulting firm before assuming positions as Director of Workforce Development at Harrisburg Area Community College and then as Director of Continuing Education at Penn State University, York Campus. A recognized expert in workforce development, Brundage’s career reflects 31 years of experience in operational and strategic leadership, resource utilization, strategic planning, human resource management, fundraising, and organizational development in both the higher education and private sectors. In her short tenure as president, Brundage has already made an impact with her mission-focused, student-centered priorities. Working with her leadership team, she led the way to develop a new strategic plan that frames the institutional priorities for the next several years and will take ABAC into the future. Her focus on enrollment and retention initiatives resulted in a 3.5% enrollment increase for Fall 2023. She also led the effort to move ABAC athletics to a four-year program, aligning the college’s co-curricular activities with the academic program pathways which will result in greater overall retention rates. Brundage continues to focus on developing relevant and high priority academic programming to meet the needs of the regional workforce, align resources to better support goal attainment, and heighten ABAC’s brand awareness and visibility with a strong focus on marketing its competitive advantages. Brundage and her husband, John, live in Tifton with their two daughters, Sophia and Olivia.
