Jessica James

Jessica James, M.S.Ed., is the Assistant Director of Orientation and Student Activities at Concordia University Irvine. She received her B.A. in Communication Studies from Concordia in 2019. During her time at Concordia, her passion for higher education grew as she served in various student leadership roles. In her senior year, she served as Student Body President before working with WinShape Camps for the summer. Jessica received her Master's degree in Higher Education from Baylor University in 2021 and where she worked as the Coordinator of the First-Year Experience in the School of Education. In her current role, she runs Concordia's Week of Welcome experience, the Peer Advising Leadership Program, and First-Year Experience events. She also teaches as an adjunct faculty member in the Communication Studies Department.
