Maureen Stokes

Maureen Stokes is the assistant vice president for communications and marketing at Worcester State University, a position she’s served in since 2018. Prior to her arrival at WSU, she was the associate vice president of external relations, communications and marketing at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania. She brings to the higher education landscape a breath of experiences having served in various industries including entertainment and hospitality while living in Southern California, and municipal government with the city of Reno. Maureen holds two bachelor degrees from the University of Southern California in Theater Arts and Communications, and a master of arts in Communications and Leadership from Seton Hall University. She enjoys volunteering, running, hiking and offering her expertise to help start-up organizations with communications and marketing needs.
