Stella Liu

Stella Wenxing Liu is a seasoned data science leader with over a decade of experience at the intersection of AI, machine learning, and human-centered design. Currently serving as Lead Data Scientist for AI Acceleration at Arizona State University, she spearheads initiatives that drive innovation and operational excellence across the institution. Prior to her role at ASU, Stella held pivotal positions in the tech industry, including Associate Director of Data Science at Carvana and Data Science Manager at Shopify. Her expertise encompasses autonomous technologies, predictive modeling, and scalable machine learning systems. She is also a dedicated mentor, contributing to the data science community through platforms like ADPList. Stella holds an M.A. from Harvard University, an M.S. from The University of Texas at Austin, and a B.S. from Tsinghua University.
