About the Episode

On this week’s episode of The Enrollify Podcast, Zach sits down with Kin Sejpal, the Associate Vice President, University Marketing Strategy and Creative Services at the Rochester Institute of Technology, to discuss RIT’s recently launched “New Economy Majors.”

Kin shares the story behind how (and why) the leadership team at RIT decided to select 12 majors from a variety of schools and colleges and repackage these programs as “New Economy Majors.” None of RIT’s New Economy Majors were actually new majors. Kin dives deep into the importance of packaging in higher education marketing — the “5th P” in the marketing mix — and unpacks the process her team walked through to bring this initiative to life.
