How to Successfully Move Higher Ed Admissions & Marketing Events Online

Or listen on:

About the Episode

As we're all very much aware of by now, schools across the country are suspending in-person classes and cancelling events left and right. This week we've seen an incredible amount of content published on how to best conduct virtual learning.

But one reality that is easy to overlook amidst the chaos is how the coronavirus is affecting student recruitment for fall of 2020 and beyond; how it's disrupting the admissions experience for today's high school seniors.

Enrollment managers heavily rely on events- things like open houses, campus visit days, campus tours, etc. - to "seal the deal" on a student selecting their college or university over another.

On this week's episode of the Enrollify Podcast, we sit down with Chris Federspiel and Kristen Hicks from Blackthorn.io, a native Salesforce events platform, to discuss how admissions teams should be responding to these cancellations.

Due to the coronavirus, their team has spent the last couple of weeks working tirelessly to update their solution, and now admissions departments and other event planners can connect tools like Zoom directly to their existing event processes, making online recruitment easy to manage entirely in Salesforce.

Tune in for tips on how to run successful, engaging online recruitment events!
